Stating that households, industrial facilities, and agricultural establishments producing their own electricity from the sun are increasing day by day thanks to solar power plant systems, İbrahim Şahintaş underlined that the capacity of solar energy panels exceeds 270 MGW according to the data announced by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

Expressing that Turkey is one of the luckiest countries in the world in terms of solar energy generation capacity, which has increased the rate of use of renewable energy sources to 49 percent in 2020, İbrahim Şahintaş stated that as Bursa TEK Energy, they provide turnkey services with all their operations in order to make the best use of these opportunities.

Şahintaş stated that the solar power plant systems installed on the roofs of households or workplaces pay for themselves within 5 years, thanks to incentives such as the practice of taking back the excess energy produced by the government to make use of solar energy to close the energy deficit, over the price at which it distributes energy, and VAT exemptions. He said that Turkey will take firm steps towards a clean future.
