Turkey's Clean Future is Established with Renewable Energy Resources

Bursa TEK Energy Chairman of the Board İbrahim Şahintaş stated that two-thirds of the global electricity production capacities are provided by solar and wind energies, and said that the acceleration of the transition to renewable energy worldwide is promising in terms of a clean energy revolution and efforts to provide a clean future.

According to the report prepared by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), Bursa TEK Energy's Chairman of the Board of Bursa TEK Energy, which is the only company in Turkey with a TSE certificate in the manufacture and installation of solar power plants, said that in 2019, 67 percent of the installed capacities for electricity generation worldwide is provided by solar and wind energies. Underlining that while the renewable energy targets are being increased in Europe, public opinion has been formed on the use of renewable and clean natural energy sources in many countries of the world, Şahintaş emphasized that solar energy, which can be used efficiently in every region of Turkey, will be the key to the country's clean and bright future.

Stating that Turkey continues to make significant progress in many renewable energies, especially solar energy, with the breakthroughs made in recent years, Şahintaş said that the interest shown in solar power plants is increasing day by day with the investments and efforts of the government and private sector in this regard in our country as well as in the rest of the world. Şahintaş said that solar power plants, which have become an important investment tool for users with the promise of getting back the excess energy given by the government over the distribution cost, have also started to earn their users by amortizing themselves in five years. İbrahim Şahintaş said, “Thanks to solar energy, which is also a clean and inexhaustible source of energy, the use of fossil fuels that are harmful to nature during the day is also reduced, thus contributing to the reduction of Turkey's dependence on foreign energy in energy,” said İbrahim Şahintaş.
